About Respitality

Respitality is a small, community-focused service created to support individuals with developmental disabilities and the families and caregivers who support them. We understand that caregiving can be meaningful but demanding. Our goal is to provide dependable, respectful support that fits into real life and grows through trust.

Warm conversation in a comfortable setting

Why We Exist

Respitality was created in response to families looking for support that felt personal, flexible, and manageable. We wanted to offer something smaller - support that is not rushed or overly program-driven, but shaped around individuals and their daily routines.

Being small allows us to stay closely connected to the people we support and to be transparent about what we can offer.

Who We Support

We support individuals with developmental disabilities who benefit from one-on-one or small-group support, as well as the families and caregivers who support them. We work within our capacity and keep expectations clear from the beginning.

Supportive skill-building activity between caregiver and individual

What We Do

We provide respite support, community engagement, and skill-building support designed to encourage independence, participation, and stability in daily life.

How We Work

Every support arrangement begins with a conversation. We take time to understand preferences, routines, and goals, and we maintain open communication as support evolves.

Our Relationship with Alternatives

Respitality operates as a program by Alternatives, aligning with shared values of inclusion, accountability, and respectful care, while maintaining a small and personal approach.
